Finally!

I grew up having a "real" Christmas Tree. I just love the smell, and I love knowing that each year the tree will be a little different, and special in it's own way :O) Well, finding time to go get our first real Christmas tree has been quite the challenge. Owning a "faux", pre-lit Christmas tree, pulling it out of the garage, and having it up the day after thankgiving is an idea I am warming up to! (For future years of course) Anyways, this Saturday we finally found the time! We went with our good friends Katie and Tom to "Thornton's U-Cut" out near Prairie.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better day!
At first we were being very picky. We kept finding trees we liked but we'd say "Let's keep looking, we'll come back.." Well after about 10 mintues of lugging my 19 pound baby and my huge purse around... I was fine with chopping ANY tree down. Isn't his face so sweet though?
Katie & Tom with their tree!
Logan cutting down our tree!

Katie & I with our trees. By the way, I'm faking that smile. My back hurt SOO Bad! He's a little too big for that front pack!
Finding the perfect tree was not as easy as I thought it would be. It was fun to spend time outdoors with eachother and our good friends.

Thanksgiving Week!

Thanksgiving week was so much fun. It went by too fast! The Hirschi's were here and our week was busy busy and FUN!!!!!!!! About two hours after they arrived we started a long game of Monopoly. Classic. Some things never change. I won of course :O)
Our first full day we all went to Multnomah falls. It was soooooooooooo COLD! The wind was so freezing it took our breath away when we got out of the car. Some of us still made it to the top!
Me and my BIG BOY! He kinda looks like a gingerbread man in this outfit!
That night we went and saw Twilight at Cinetopia! The Hirschi's LOVE Twilight (along with about everyone else I know) so my Aunt Nanette bought all the girls a Twilight shirt to wear. Logan says I'm a "fake" because I wore the shirt even though I haven't read the book. I haven't read a book since 9th grade, but I think I'm going to try reading the first one. I liked the movie so I am actually excited!
Showing off the back of our shirts. "The Forbidden Fruit Tastes the Sweetest." Hehe The guys went too... except for Logan. He got out of it.

Thanksgiving! It is always great to be with FAMILY!
The cooks.. taking a break for a picture :O)

We did some very EARLY day-after-thanksgiving shopping. Here we are searching through the ads for a good deal. Everyone was fighting over the Target ad.After dinner we went over to the Mays for some delicious pie and homemade ice cream. MY FAV! The night after Thanksgiving we met up at Lloyd Center and rode the Max over to Pioneer Square to see the Christmas Tree light up. Last time I went I was with my cousins and Logan. Logan and I had only been dating a few weeks. How sweet. :O)
Last but not least- we missed you Brittany, Josh, Teegan and Camdyn!!!!

Six Months Old

Baylor is already six months old. He is SO Big! He weighs 19 pounds. He has outgrown his two cousins that are a month older. He is really good at sitting up on his own and has learned to scoot around without ever getting off his bum. It is so funny. What a cutie!

{Half Day Friday}

Logan usually schedule's himself "Half Day Friday's" We love spending Friday's together and we always try to get out of the house and do something together. (Some weeks are more exciting then others.) Anyways, today was really fun! We went to downtown Portland. It was especially fun because it was chilly outside and it is starting to look all Christmasy! I finally got to wear my new coat! :o) We shared a peppermint hot chocolate, bundled Baylor up in his stroller, walked around, and did a little shopping. Oh... and we went out to eat.. TWICE. I'll explain later...They were in the process of putting the lights on the Christmas tree in Pioneer Square. They had the twinkly lights in all the other trees along the streets. YAY! I can't wait for CHRISTMAS! I love pushing a stroller. It's probably one of my favorite things about being a Mom. I love having my handy cupholders and compartments for my keys/cellphone and I love having a basket to store all of my stuff. I don't know how I ever went without a stroller... to think I used to have to carry my bags and hold my own cups...We had Baylor bundled up under two blankets. He looked so cute with his happy little face poking out beneath the blankets. He was so happy the whole time!
We went to BabyGap (My personal favorite store for baby clothes) and found him this cute striped thingy (I don't know what to call it) I love it though cause it's all one peice.. I'm so sick of socks falling off! Anyways, I think it's super cute so I had to get a picture :O)

Okay so the reason we went to dinner TWICE is because while we were in Portland we found this Wild Buffalo Wing place (I already forgot what it's called..) Logan said he used to go there in Vegas when he was on his mission and he LOVED it. We figured we might as well try it since we were there! Well it was disgusting so we didn't eat much. Thank goodness we shared anyways! Not too long after we went to Beach's to celebrate my friend Kathyrn's Birthday. We were planning on just getting dessert but since we didn't eat much of our first dinner we ordered food again (and dessert of course!) I've never gone out to eat twice in one night like that... so that was kinda weird, but fun. We shared both times so we didn't waste too much money. The second dinner was much better! Happy Birthday Kathryn! Oh and for the record... Baylor is keeping me awake so that is why I am posting this at 2:00 AM!

Cousins♥

Baylor and his cutie cousin Evelyn! Aren't cousins just the best ever? I am so excited that Baylor gets to grow up living so close to so many cousins. (And grandparents/aunts/uncles!) I always wanted that growing up. In fact, I still wish that.. thankfully, my favorite cousins EVER are coming to visit soon- 13 days.. I can't wait!

Tagged!

I was tagged by Brannigan! You have to post the 4th picture in the 4th folder of your pictures, then write a short description of the picture.. and of course tag a few more people! This is a "Boglin" one of Logan's many "E-bay" finds. He used to have one when he was little and tracked this along with a few others down on E-Bay. I was hoping I'd run into a cute picture of Baylor... but nope!
I tag - Kim Walker, Katie Jensen, Heidi James & Brittany Miles.
