Halloween

Right before we went trick or treating our friend Scarlette offered to take some pictures of our boys in their costumes! She is a super talented photographer, it was so nice of her to take these pictures!

My two pirates needed a parrot! I couldn't find a cute one to buy so I had to throw this together. This was my first sewing project that I have done all by myself. I was happy with how it turned out!

Here are the boys excited, ready to go trick or treating!
Earlier in the month we had a Halloween party with a few friends. We dressed as 'Buddy and Jovie' from Elf. Our friend Kevin came as a gingerbread man so we thought we better get a picture!!
Baylor and Wesley wanted to have a party of their own so we invited a few of their friends over after Preschool for a Halloween party. Cute kids!

Callie threw a Old Western themed Halloween party. Logan and I went as a Saloon girl and Bartender. The theme was so cute- we had so much fun!
Here are the boys in our trunk at the Trunk or Treat. There were so many fun Halloween festivities... by the end of it all I was EXHAUSTED! But it was all so much fun!!!!!!!!

Our little artist

Ever since Baylor started preschool he has been doing 'projects' none stop. He is constantly walking around the house looking for things to cut, clue, tape and color!
I thought I would include one of his works of art. I thought this was cute, it is a picture of a "Wailien (alien) with a tie on."

Witch's Night Out

Every year I look forward to Witch's night out. This was my fifth year! My friend Amy took a break from hosting, so my friend Kendall and her Mom planned it, and did something a little different. We started out with appetizers and treats at her home, then took a big bus to Portland. We all went to the 'haunted houses' at the rose quarters. I hadn't been to one of those since my Rexburg days. They were so much fun we loved it! It was pretty funny going around town with 30 of us dressed as witches!!!!!!!!!

Me and my good friend Kendall
On the party bus! Heading to Portland.
After the haunted houses we all went to VooDoo doughnuts! This was my first time! They are known for all of their crazy flavors. They have an amazing selection and really cool vide. There was a lot of us we barely fit inside! I got the butterfinger doughnut and loved it. This was most definitely a FUN girls night out can't wait for next year!

Utah Trip

We've gone on a Summer trip to Utah the last two years. This year, with Bentley arriving in August... it didn't happen. So we decided to do a fall trip! This was actually my favorite time we've gone because there was so much to do and the weather was so comfortable. We started our treck on the 6th and made a stop a couple hours down the road at Logan's Uncle Milo's home in Prosser for Logan's cousin Jake's wedding.
Callie set Jake up with his wife Madison. So that made it a little extra fun to see that they were getting married!! It was a beautiful fall day with perfect weather. Milo owns a vineyard that over looks the Columbia Gorge- the views are amazing. It was awesome!

After the wedding we hit the road to Boise. We stayed the night at Logan's cousin's home 'The Starr house' and then hit the road again in the morning.

Wesley and Avin were instant BFF's on this trip. They were the cutest little combo- they were so entertaining to watch. They were extra excited when they both wore their Batman PJ's!

I had to snap a picture of this accidental cuddling I found one night. Hilarious!

On Monday we went to the Dinosaur Park.
Digging for Fossils.

Baylor saw this Volcano and got so excited. He said 'I've never seen a REAL Volcano!'

That night we went to the train station for dinner. It is always fun to see the trains, the kids love climbing on them.

The next day we went to the pumpkin patch. Of course we had a blast. It was so much fun to go to a new one... and this one had just about everything.

Ivrie & Bentley, just four days apart!

Next was a day in Salt Lake. We went to the new mall, walked through Temple Square and then visited my Gramma Davis and Uncle Steven.

Can you tell they were sick of taking pictures?!
Uncle Steven with baby Bentley.
Gramma Davis got us the traditional KFC.
We loved it! It was so fun to visit her!!!
Next was the day Baylor had been waiting for for MONTHS.... LAGOON!

We weren't sure how Wesley was gonna do with the rides but he caught on real quick. He loved them! After every ride he would run up to us and give us a big hug! Then we would get in line for the next ride.

Unlike the other days on this trip, it was soooooo cold this day. After a few hours I went back to Heidi's and got some coats, hats and gloves!!

It was so fun to finally experience 'Frightmares' We loved every minute of it..... we loved every minute of this whole trip! Can't wait to hopefully do it again next year!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the memories James Family!!!!!!
