Halloween

This year the boys all wanted to be Gremlins for Halloween. We found the ears at Comic Con, and then Logan and I made the costumes to go with it. No sewing involved- we just hot glued the fur to some sweats. They loved being Gremlins- and Logan and I loved it too they looked SO cute... like three stuffed animals walking around!

30 weeks pregnant

Lenny- It's hard to see in the picture but Logan made Baylor some big teeth!

 Gizmo- the cutest little Gizmo EVER! Bentley said 'Me love being Gizmo because Gizmo is so cute!!' He told everyone for months in advance that this was what he was going to be for Halloween. He played the part well!

I absolutely love the boys' school. I love that they celebrate holidays and do fun festive parties. They are always doing fun holiday activities and crafts at school too.. which is so fun!

 On the way to the party, the boys said they hoped they would win the costume contest. I told they they wouldn't because there were just too many kids. I didn't want them to expect to win. Turns out they did! There were six trophies and they were called up first! They were SO happy! They kept talking about how fun that was when their name was called to come up. It was a fun night!

Ms. Carolyn's Christmas Program

Wesley was Joseph in the Nativity at his Preschool. His cute little friend Chloe Sivits was Mary. I loved that they were Joseph and Mary together! They did the best job! I loved watching it! I missed half because Bentley was being SO LOUD... thankfully Becca recorded it so I can watch it over and over. I came back in in time for the songs. They sang four songs. Wesley did great! Logan and I was so proud!!!

School Halloween Party

Baylor's school had a Halloween Festival. This is one thing I LOVE about his new school- they celebrate holidays! The weather was warm and perfect for the occasion. It was a very busy month so we didn't have much time for costumes. After the boys' soccer games we ran to the Halloween store and they each picked out a costume. Not my favorite way to do it- but they LOVED their costumes. It was a dream come true for Baylor to be something really scary! Wesley loved being Darth Vader too. They were happy boys! 

 The party had food, games, a cake walk and the boys' favorite.. a 'Haunted Hallway.' We walked through it several times! The PTA did a great job putting this together. We had a great time. 

First Day of Preschool

Wesley has been sooooo excited to go to Ms. Carolyn's ALL YEAR! He was so happy for his first day! His class is filled with familiar faces... including his friend Simon who used to be our neighbor. We are going to carpool with my friend Becca and her daughter Chloe. 

Baylor's First Day of 1st Grade

Baylor's first day of first grade... and his first day at his new school! We met his teacher and went to his class a couple days before school started. His teacher seemed really great and the classroom was decorated so fun. It is going to be a great year!

Wesley was jealous he didn't get to start!

Last Day of Kindergarten

The last day of school was VERY bittersweet. He won't be going back to Harmony :( It was a great school! I loved where his classroom was... right in front of the drop off area so I could see him walk in and out of his class each day when I dropped him off and picked him up. He made Mrs. Brockley a card. I thought it was so sweet, he made it all on his own.

Mrs. Brockley had a big rug with colorful squares that they would sit on everyday. I love that he drew the rug on the card. 

I can't believe my baby will be a 1st grader!

First Day of Kindergarten

 Baylor had his first day of Kindergarten on Friday. We woke up to LOTS of rain! We met our friends the Billings and walked to school with them. They lent us an umbrella. Guess we better invest in a few of those!!

Baylor was being a little grumpy at home... He didn't want us to take his picture and he didn't want to smile... but once we got to school he was smiling ear to ear... sooo excited!

Baylor is lucky he gets to go to the same school as 6 of his cousins!!

 Baylor and his teacher Ms. Brockley. After he met her he told someone 'My new teacher is the nicest teacher on the whole earth!'

 I had to take a picture walking home. Baylor was exhausted! I don't blame him, going from 2 1/2 hour pre-school to all day kindergarten has got to be hard! Wesley got kicked out of the stroller... Baylor got the ride home!

Done with Preschool

Baylor is officially done with preschool. It was bittersweet. Well.... sad for me, but he is excited for Kindergarten. He went to Miss Carolyn- 'My Friends Preschool.' Miss Carolyn is a wonderful teacher. So kind and patient. She always had the kids doing fun little projects. Baylor loved Preschool so much. I only had to drive every three weeks, but I always enjoyed driving when it was my turn. I loved hearing him and his two friends Emery and Landen make conversation.

They sang the song 'Oh What do You do in the Summertime' Baylor had been singing it for weeks and weeks at home he loves that song. 

 Last day of school hugs. 

Baylor was a big fan of Miss Carolyn's garden. He loves the sugar snap peas. He kept saying he wanted to take some to Sunriver for Aunt Heidi.

My little Preschooler

Baylor is officially in Preschool! He was sooo excited to go his first day. His teacher said he could bring a stuffed animal so he brought his Gizmo stuffed animal in his 'pack pack.' He loved that! He is such a sweet boy I just love him so much!!!
