Kendall's Baby Shower

My good friend Kendall will be having a baby boy in July! Her and I share a love for anything old and vintage. We love to go antique shopping together. So I chose a vintage schoolhouse theme for her baby shower. I borrowed lots of cute stuff from family and friends to decorate, along with making a few things. 

I had so much fun with this theme!! 

I'm so grateful to have Kendall as one of my best friends! :)

Beach Day

May 4th- We heard it was gonna be nice at the beach so we packed up the kids and went. It took hours to get in because we were stuck in traffic but it was worth it! It was 90 degrees!! We felt like we were on vacation. We didn't want the day to end it was perfect.

 We can't go to the beach without stopping in a candy store for some taffy and in the toy store... and of course Baylor wanted to go on a ride... we let him pick one and he picked the tilt-a-whirl. 

 There is so much to do one day just wasn't enough! We were kind of in a hurry to get down to the beach and play in the sand because we were hot!! As we were driving from Seaside to the Beach it was so warm, I had the feet up on the dashboard and I was thinking, 'why don't we do this all the time?' Oh yeah... because it's usually FREEZING cold at the beach. On this day I had a taste of would it would be like to live in California and be able to just load up the car and go to the beach for the day (a warm beach.)

 Bentley was such a sweet boy. He didn't get a nap all day... so I was worried he'd be cranky but he just loved the beach. He was just taking it all in, happy as can be.

After playing at the beach for a few hours we went to the shops at Cannon Beach for dinner. Logan got his Fish and chips he'd been wanting all day and me and the boys shared a burger. Even in the evening it was still so warm and nice. A Perfect Day!

Summer Already

 April and the beginning of May were absolutely amazing! It was warm and sunny. Baylor kept asking, 'Mommy is it Summertime?' It felt like it! 

I found this pretty quilt at Camas Antiques and had to have it. It's perfect for picnics and park days and just sitting in the sun!

 I just love his scrunchy face!!

Wesley decided one day he was done riding his trike (sad!) and starting riding this big boy bike. He is so good about always putting on his helmet. Shoes... not so much.
