Warrior Dash
Lindsi, Verne and Casey ran the Warrior Dash last year and it looked so fun! I had to join in this year! Kyle came along too. It was sooo much fun! The obstacles were really fun. There was swimming, big mud hills to climb and slide down, walls to climb and jump, ropes to climb, fire to jump over and lastly a big giant THICK mudd puddle to crawl through to the finish line. Seriously so fun!!
The whole gang all cleaned up. Proud to be WARRIORS!!!
I finished 57 in my age group out of 1024
and I finished 987 out of 7929 overall.
My pace was 14:06
I can't wait to do it again!!!

Block Party
Me and my neighbors have been talking about doing a block party for years, so we decided to squeeze one in before the rain comes! It was super rainy in the morning so we were worried we'd have to cancel but we kept our fingers crossed and the weather dried up! My neighbor Linda brought balloons for balloon hats and swords. Her daughter and Logan did face painting. Everyone BBQ'd and we had salads, desserts and ice cream cones. The kids ran around and played and the adults had fun chatting. I'm hoping this can be a new neighborhood tradition!
Baylor and one of his best little buds, Ethan Rowe. Baylor calls him 'Methan' and Ethan calls him 'Dad'... it's a funny game they play I guess.
Kendall and Sanni dishing up ice cream cones.
I LOVED Ethan's burger he made...
a brownie sandwiched between two cookies.
Logan was busy all night face painting!
This was a very popular design!
First Day of Kindergarten
Baylor had his first day of Kindergarten on Friday. We woke up to LOTS of rain! We met our friends the Billings and walked to school with them. They lent us an umbrella. Guess we better invest in a few of those!!
Baylor was being a little grumpy at home... He didn't want us to take his picture and he didn't want to smile... but once we got to school he was smiling ear to ear... sooo excited!
Baylor is lucky he gets to go to the same school as 6 of his cousins!!
Baylor and his teacher Ms. Brockley. After he met her he told someone 'My new teacher is the nicest teacher on the whole earth!'
I had to take a picture walking home. Baylor was exhausted! I don't blame him, going from 2 1/2 hour pre-school to all day kindergarten has got to be hard! Wesley got kicked out of the stroller... Baylor got the ride home!

Soccer Time!
Baylor had his very first Soccer practice. Logan had fun picking out all his new soccer gear. His coach is a family friend, Rebecca Lacher. He has his cousin Cody on his team with him and some friends too. It is going to be so fun!!!!
Racing!!
Poor little Wesley wanted to play SO bad. Maybe in the Spring!
Poor sad little Wesley on the side. At one point the kids were 'dribbling' the soccer ball towards the goal. Wesley was right in there with them, a little bit ahead doing a great job! He looked so cute out there in his little rain boots. I had to take him out though once I realized he was out there. He was NOT happy about that!
Stopped for a water break! I think Baylor is gonna love Soccer!

Our Playroom
For the first couple years of living in our house our playroom was mostly empty with some hand-me-down furniture. We have slowly but surely furnished and decorated it. I think we are mostly done... and I think it turned out kinda cute... when it's clean which is rare.
Logan always wanted Movie posters.. when he found these vintage Disney one's I agreed. He made the barn wood frames out of barn wood from his parent's house. My Dad found that little pottery barn table and thrift store for cheap and gave it to us! It was an awesome find. Logan painted and re-finished it.
My friend Brannigan and I used to collect these tins in Rexburg and had one wall covered it them. It was fun to collect these ones for the playroom. Brought back memories :)
Bentley loves his playroom!
He crawls up the stairs and goes straight for it!
We found this open/closed store at a flea market recently. Sometimes we flip it over when we are done cleaning the playroom. Now I need one for my kitchen!!!
Goodbye Summer
It was a fun, busy, hot Summer! I'm sad to see it go! These are just a few of my favorite snapshots from my iphone. Can't believe how far they've come with the picture quality on cell phones!!
We went to Tropical Smoothie at least twice a week. They have a drive through... which is PERFECT for me... I am OVER getting kids in and out of the car! My boys were THRILLED to meet the Tropical Smoothie maskot! (Okay I was too!)
Of course we spent tons of time and Grandma and Grandpa May's swimming and running around.
The ice cream man doesn't come every day so when he does come we will usually let the boys get something. It's pretty much the most exciting thing ever. Wesley gets what I always got when I was little... the snow cone. I don't know why, they really aren't that good!
We LOVE family bike rides. Wesley can't always make it... Bentley is just the sweetest brother giving him a squishy shoulder to lean on.
It was a happy Summer Indeed!!!
