Halloween

This year the boys all wanted to be Gremlins for Halloween. We found the ears at Comic Con, and then Logan and I made the costumes to go with it. No sewing involved- we just hot glued the fur to some sweats. They loved being Gremlins- and Logan and I loved it too they looked SO cute... like three stuffed animals walking around!
30 weeks pregnant

Lenny- It's hard to see in the picture but Logan made Baylor some big teeth!

Gizmo- the cutest little Gizmo EVER! Bentley said 'Me love being Gizmo because Gizmo is so cute!!' He told everyone for months in advance that this was what he was going to be for Halloween. He played the part well!
I absolutely love the boys' school. I love that they celebrate holidays and do fun festive parties. They are always doing fun holiday activities and crafts at school too.. which is so fun!
Cute little Daffy!

On the way to the party, the boys said they hoped they would win the costume contest. I told they they wouldn't because there were just too many kids. I didn't want them to expect to win. Turns out they did! There were six trophies and they were called up first! They were SO happy! They kept talking about how fun that was when their name was called to come up. It was a fun night!

School Halloween Party

Baylor's school had a Halloween Festival. This is one thing I LOVE about his new school- they celebrate holidays! The weather was warm and perfect for the occasion. It was a very busy month so we didn't have much time for costumes. After the boys' soccer games we ran to the Halloween store and they each picked out a costume. Not my favorite way to do it- but they LOVED their costumes. It was a dream come true for Baylor to be something really scary! Wesley loved being Darth Vader too. They were happy boys!

The party had food, games, a cake walk and the boys' favorite.. a 'Haunted Hallway.' We walked through it several times! The PTA did a great job putting this together. We had a great time.

Halloween

We had so much fun with our Halloween costumes this year. Wesley wanted to be Batman, and Baylor wanted to be a clown, so we kinda talked him into being Joker. They all loved their costumes. I have never seen them happier! Logan and I couldn't resist but be villains as well... The Riddler and Catwomen. We were lucky to have perfect weather for our Trunk-or-treat and again on Halloween.

I 'pinned' this Batmobile on Pinterest a very long time ago. This was my perfect opportunity to make this! I found a cozy coupe on Craigs list. My friend Cami cuts vinyl so she made the Batman symbols for me.

We turned our car into 'The Batcave' and had Batman music playing. Our boys were in heaven!

Barn Party

Every year Grandma and Grandpa May do a Pumpkin carving party in their barn. We had Chili and rolls and a yummy chocolate dessert. Logan did most of the carving but I did do a little
jack-o-lantern for Bentley. We love this tradition! :)

Halloween Decor

We LOVE decorating for Halloween!
This year I made some new orange and black pillows with a few of my friends.

I made this witch dress form with my friend Amy last year. This project was sooo much fun!

I found this idea on pinterest to hang witch hats. I put them up for Bunco but I loved it so I left them. I will probably hang them next year too!
Every year my mantel changes. I made the paper wreath several years ago with the craft group I was in. I made so many fun things with them. I also made the witch broom. That was a fun project too!!

Halloween Bunco

I have been in a Bunco group for a couple years. I decided this would be my last one. Since I was hosting in October I did a costume contest. Cami came as a homeless man and took first place.
Me and some of my best friends! I love these gals!!

Halloween

Right before we went trick or treating our friend Scarlette offered to take some pictures of our boys in their costumes! She is a super talented photographer, it was so nice of her to take these pictures!

My two pirates needed a parrot! I couldn't find a cute one to buy so I had to throw this together. This was my first sewing project that I have done all by myself. I was happy with how it turned out!

Here are the boys excited, ready to go trick or treating!
Earlier in the month we had a Halloween party with a few friends. We dressed as 'Buddy and Jovie' from Elf. Our friend Kevin came as a gingerbread man so we thought we better get a picture!!
Baylor and Wesley wanted to have a party of their own so we invited a few of their friends over after Preschool for a Halloween party. Cute kids!

Callie threw a Old Western themed Halloween party. Logan and I went as a Saloon girl and Bartender. The theme was so cute- we had so much fun!
Here are the boys in our trunk at the Trunk or Treat. There were so many fun Halloween festivities... by the end of it all I was EXHAUSTED! But it was all so much fun!!!!!!!!

Witch's Night Out

Every year I look forward to Witch's night out. This was my fifth year! My friend Amy took a break from hosting, so my friend Kendall and her Mom planned it, and did something a little different. We started out with appetizers and treats at her home, then took a big bus to Portland. We all went to the 'haunted houses' at the rose quarters. I hadn't been to one of those since my Rexburg days. They were so much fun we loved it! It was pretty funny going around town with 30 of us dressed as witches!!!!!!!!!

Me and my good friend Kendall
On the party bus! Heading to Portland.
After the haunted houses we all went to VooDoo doughnuts! This was my first time! They are known for all of their crazy flavors. They have an amazing selection and really cool vide. There was a lot of us we barely fit inside! I got the butterfinger doughnut and loved it. This was most definitely a FUN girls night out can't wait for next year!
