Baylor is about 8 months old now! Seems like everyday he is learning something new. He has been crawling since about mid-december. He crawls with a limp- he puts one knee down and one foot. It's a half normal crawl and half bear crawl. He loves to stand up on things and walk around. He also loves to knock all my decorations down so most of them have been moved to the guest room. We love his personality- he keeps Logan and I laughing all the time!

Home Sweet Home
I have been spending a lot of time at home since the "Arctic Blast" hit. I have had a couple requests on my blog for me to post some pictures of my home. I love it when other people post pictures of their homes on their blogs so I figure I could contribute. I didn't have much else to do today.. and I figure if I'm gonna post pictures of my home I might as well do it with my Christmas decor. This is for you Diana and Lindsey:)
Logan found these stockings at Camas Antique... he is too good:)
My good friend Stacey has helped me find some very cute things for my house. She has also 'handed down' some very cute things as well- including my dining room table and that cute clock on the wall.. to name a couple :)
See that white thing in the corner?
Logan found that by the dumpster at his office... Lucky Find!
Baylor's room- Lori and I (Lori did 95% of it) made Baylor's bedding. We are lucky to have a talented seamstress in the family!
Lori, Callie, Lindsi & I each made these cute Christmas banners. They were quite time consuming but they all turned out pretty cute! I love anything with GLITTER! (Who doesn't?)

One of my favorite things in my home- Logan came home one day and gave this to me! He made it in his Dad's barn with some old barnwood and chicken wire. I have it hung in my entryway.
Our house has come a long way since when we first found it. (It was a DUMP!) Logan and his Dad did some remodeling and we have replaced just about everything in the house. Brandon Hill (Hill Custom Painting) re-painted all of the walls, trim and doors, and our front door and outdoor trim. He did a great job! Lori helped a TON too- and I did what I could.. mostly just cleaned A LOT!
So there you have it, that's my home! :)

Christmas Tag!
1. Egg nog or Hot Chocolate? Neither for me, Hot Chocolate for Logan!
2. Do you wrap presents or bag them? I always do bags for birthdays but for Christmas I always wrap. It's one of my favorite things to do at Christmas time!
3. Colored Lights or White? We like white on our tree, but either on the house
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Nope.. It's cute I just haven't found a good spot for it...
5.When do you decorate? Well this year we decorated before Thanksgiving.. but I felt like it was too early so I un-decorated and then put it back up after Thanksgiving. So next year.. after Thanksgiving!
6. Favorite holiday dish? Ham and Potatoes for me, Turkey for Logan. (He doesn't like ham...)
7. When & how did you learn about Santa? I was in first grade... my brother Casey told me and my Mom confirmed... Logan says sometime in 4th grade..?
8. How do you decorate your tree? Well this year I decorated it while Logan watched SNL. It was our first time getting a tree. I didn't realize how much work it was to decorate the tree! I tried to do a red, white and silver theme. It's nothing too fancy though.
9. Snow…love it or dread it? Love it!
10. Can you ice skate? I'm okay at it.. but Logan is REALLY good! He can jump up and do turns and everything. I was very surprised/impressed the first time we went when we were dating!
11. Do you remember your favorite gift? Logan remembers getting a tyco turbo hammer (RC car) I remember the year I got my own cordless phone. I loved that!!!
12. What is the most important part of the holidays? Being with family and remembering the Savior's birth!
13. Favorite holiday dessert? I like just about any dessert but my favorite is probably those seven layer bars aka magic cookie bars. I love those!! Logan doesn't have a favorite.
14. Favorite memory? There are so many good memories. I just love Christmas morning- opening gifts, eating my FAVORITE food crepes with strawberries and whip cream for breakfest and taking a nice nap in the afternoon. That's the best. One year my brother Kyle put batting on his face and made it look like a beard. He looked like Santa. He came in my room and woke me up from my nap and I remember being terrified because I did not know that it was him.. I thought it was some strange old man. I screamed so loud everyone in the house could hear! I laugh everytime I think about that! Logan's favorite Christmas memory was when his cousin Morgan came and spent the night for Christmas!
We tag: My Mom, Lori & Verne , Brannigan & the Elrods! (If you have time...)
A few Christmas pictures just for fun....

{Family Pictures}
A few weeks ago when the weather was really nice I called up my little sister and asked if she could snap a few pictures of our family. It was totally spur of the moment. I am SO excited with how CUTE they turned out. I love them! Here are my favorites.
(I have a lot of favorites!)

Thanks again Mackenzie! You are very talented!

Logan cutting down our tree!
Katie & I with our trees. By the way, I'm faking that smile. My back hurt SOO Bad! He's a little too big for that front pack!
Finding the perfect tree was not as easy as I thought it would be. It was fun to spend time outdoors with eachother and our good friends.

Thanksgiving Week!
Thanksgiving week was so much fun. It went by too fast! The Hirschi's were here and our week was busy busy and FUN!!!!!!!!
About two hours after they arrived we started a long game of Monopoly. Classic. Some things never change. I won of course :O)
Our first full day we all went to Multnomah falls. It was soooooooooooo COLD! The wind was so freezing it took our breath away when we got out of the car. Some of us still made it to the top!

Me and my BIG BOY! He kinda looks like a gingerbread man in this outfit!
That night we went and saw Twilight at Cinetopia! The Hirschi's LOVE Twilight (along with about everyone else I know) so my Aunt Nanette bought all the girls a Twilight shirt to wear. Logan says I'm a "fake" because I wore the shirt even though I haven't read the book. I haven't read a book since 9th grade, but I think I'm going to try reading the first one. I liked the movie so I am actually excited!
Showing off the back of our shirts. "The Forbidden Fruit Tastes the Sweetest." Hehe
The guys went too... except for Logan. He got out of it.
Thanksgiving! It is always great to be with FAMILY!
The cooks.. taking a break for a picture :O)

We did some very EARLY day-after-thanksgiving shopping. Here we are searching through the ads for a good deal. Everyone was fighting over the Target ad.
After dinner we went over to the Mays for some delicious pie and homemade ice cream. MY FAV!
The night after Thanksgiving we met up at Lloyd Center and rode the Max over to Pioneer Square to see the Christmas Tree light up. Last time I went I was with my cousins and Logan. Logan and I had only been dating a few weeks. How sweet. :O)
Last but not least- we missed you Brittany, Josh, Teegan and Camdyn!!!!
