Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was SO Beautiful this year!! We lucked out again!

This year we had Stake Conference on Easter so we didn't have much time to do the baskets. The boys pretty much had candy for breakfast of course.

After church we attempted a few pictures. The boys weren't digging it. Baylor was able to bribe Bentley with some chocolate for this one picture. Good thinking Baylor! This is the best one we got of him.

A realistic idea of what it's like trying to take pictures of these boys!!
At least me and Logan know how to cooperate!!
After church we had a delicious dinner at the May's and then an Easter egg hunt. Lindsi and Callie put together the Easter egg hunt... it was really fun!! Here is a pic of all of the anxious cousins!
Cute little hunters. Bentley got the hang of it pretty quick.

 It was a beautiful day!!
Afterwards we went out to the Chapman's for another egg hunt!
The eggs were filled with quarters and the kids loved that!!!

May the 4th be with you!

We celebrated Wesley's 4th Birthday. He is our little Star Wars boy. He has been hauling around Logan's old Star Wars toys in his hands for who knows how long!
There are NO WORDS for how much I love this little boy. He is SO snuggly and sweet. He tells me I'm Pretty and Beautiful all.day.long.  I'm not sure if he even knows what that means, but he knows I like hearing it so he keeps saying it. It's funny because anytime I get mad at him he will come back with, 'Mom I said your pretty!' He cracks me up. :)

We have had a sugar cookie obsession lately. Logan and I made these Star Wars cookies the night before. Now anytime I make cookies Wesley expects them to be Star Wars cookies.

It was a fun night, and as always Wesley was an adorable little Birthday boy!

Lucky In Love

I was called to be in charge of the Relief Society Activities in my ward. For our first activity of the year we decided to do an activity all about LOVE. (Strengthening your relationship with your spouse and other loved ones.) It was February so I was in the mood for hearts!... But the activity was in March. SO I tied in the two and called it 'Lucky in Love.' I was happy with how it all came together.
Half of the tables had a 'Lucky' theme...
and the others had a 'LOVE' theme! Pink and green (and gold) were the colors. I am fond of that color combination (Those were my wedding colors.)

Since the activity was all about LOVE I interviewed a bunch of women in our ward and asked them questions about their spouse- how they met, and stuff like that. I also collected pictures of everyone with their spouse when they were dating. I think the movie turned out super cute. It took me a LONG LONG LONG time to make but I was happy with the outcome! Since we were watching a movie I thought it would be fun to have popcorn.

Danielle made this cute popcorn and found the cutest popcorn containers. I was so excited!

Since it was a LUCKY theme I figured we better have a few prizes!! For a handout we made scratch-its for each person and them attached to a bag of chocolate hearts. We had a few prizes, Lucky Charms and a couple boxes of chocolates.
After the movie we had two people speak. Christy Dustin spoke on keeping the 'spark' alive in your marriage and Kendall spoke about the different Love languages. Both of them did awesome! It turned out to be a fun night!

Love Day!

We didn't do much for Valentine's Day except I made crepes for Breakfast. I pretty much make them on every holiday because they are my favorite! In the evening we went to a party and Craig and Alicia's. It was really cute and fun too!

Comic Con

Logan received a flyer in the mail for Comic Con. We had no idea it came to Portland. Logan loves collecting old toys and of course our family loves Batman... so we thought it would be a fun family event... and it WAS! We all had so much fun!

There were so many fun things to see!!
So many super heros...Little boy heaven!

Wesley was not feeling very well but we had bought the tickets way in advance so we dragged him a long. He sat in the stroller the whole time.... except for when he saw the Storm troopers. For them, he was willing to get out of his stroller. He carries around a little storm trooper toy with him all. the. time.
Logan and the boys love to watch a show on the Travel Channel called 'Toy Hunter.' The Toy Hunter goes around the country finding old toys and sells them in different cities. We had no idea that the toy hunter was going to be there. When we saw him we were in shock! We were even more excited when they filmed us and made us sign a release to be on the show! We are keeping our fingers crossed that we make a quick appearance!!! ... and Speaking of TV... my Mom did happen to see Logan in the background on the news when they did a segment about Comic Con!
Jordan, 'The Toy Hunter' was a very nice guy!!
We drove separate so that I could take Bentley and Wesley home when they were ready. After we left Logan and Baylor were able to meet Adam West and Burt Ward... Batman and Robin!! So cool! Logan got this photograph autographed for the boys room...
'To The May Bros' So awesome!!!!
