Natalie was here!

Natalie was here a couple of weeks ago for her sister Valerie's wedding. This is us at her reception. I wish I would have gotten a picture w/ Valarie. She looked so beautiful and her dress was soooo amazing. The cutest I've seen. If I could get married again (to Logan of course) I would want to wear THAT dress!!! (You can sorta see it behind Nat) Natalie and I have been friends since we were 14.. We always wanted to marry twins so that we could be "sisters" (of course that's every best friend's dream.) Anyways, we always fantasized about getting married and having kids.. seems like that's all we would talk about. I can't beleive how fast time has flown.. now we are both married, and will both be parents as of March 6th(ish).. oh yeah, she is pregnant! Even though we didn't marry twins, and we don't live in Arizona, we are both pretty happy with the way things turned out! We both married cute blondes :O) I wouldn't mind if her and Zach moved back to Vancouver though! Congrats Natalie!!!!!

Baylor Pics!

These pictures were taken at the beginning of August by Ryan Birnel. I read on his website that the best time to take pictures of a baby is when they are two weeks old or younger, or when they can sit up on their own. Baylor did not fit into either category- needless to say he was not the prime age. You wouldn't be able to tell from the pictures though, Ryan (with the help of his wife Brittany) did a great job! Here are a few of my very favorites:

Happy Birthday Logan!

Logan turned 25 on Sunday! The first time I saw Logan I thought he was the cutest boy I'd ever seen. I still think he is! I am so lucky to be married to such a cute, sweet, hardworking, FUN guy! I am so glad/lucky I found him!
Wasn't Logan the cutest little boy? I know I would have had a crush on him back then too if I would have seen him! I love the party hat Lori made for him in this pic. :O)My cupcake tree was a good investment. :O)
After church we had a Birthday Party.
We had Ice Cream Sundays and Cupcakes! Logan made these cute labels for the toppings :O)
Casey and Baylor..I LOVE this picture.. so so so cute!

{Street of Dreams}

Lori took Lindsi, Callie & I to Street of Dreams on Friday. I was looking forward to it all week... and it was soo much fun! I'm already excited for next year!
We did a lot of walking! It was quite the workout considering we were lugging around our 15 pound babies! It was like being pregnant all over again!
This is a lawn mower... I was very impressed!
I will admit I did lust after the "outdoor living spaces." The house on the bottom was insane! It had a theature, indoor pool & hot-tub, wine cellar, sauna, massage room and exercise room.. complete with a ballet bar. I think I'll be okay living my life without all of that.. I wouldn't mind a 4th bedroom though.
Every house had two brand new mercedes parked in the driveway... how would that be?!
Afterwards we had dinner @ Bajios. It was a very fun night!!

Nothin' Much..

This is an update of what we have been up to the last few days... just for fun!
We have been spending much of our time admiring Baylor's every last move!
I just have to say this has been the most enjoyable Summer I have had in years!!! I love that I have been able to stay home with Baylor and actually PLAY! I actually have somewhat of a tan for once! This weekend was really fun. Not because we did anything too spectacular... but it was just fun! On Friday Logan had his good friend Chris come over and hangout. I hungout for a little while and then went over to my parents. My brothers and I rode bikes to Battle Ground High School and played Tennis. It was really fun to hang out with my brothers. Logan and I have been playing tennis quite a bit this summer and it has been so much fun! You would think that we'd be pretty good since we've been playing.. but honestly neither of us are! We have fun laughing at each other and running ALL over the tennis court chasing the ball.

I have been trying to get back into shape so I have been doing a lot of running (a lot for me that is..) these last couple of weeks. On Friday I made a plan to run 4 miles to the Mays in the morning and Logan and I would meet there and then swim. Well it took us awhile to get out of the house... so I didn't leave until around 12:30. I think it was about 100 degrees outside by then and it was a miserable run. I have never been so sweaty in my entire life!!!! Despite how miserable it was... I was proud that I still did it despite the heat. It was the best swim ever though once I arrived. Baylor napped the whole time, while Logan and I relaxed by the pool. We have been watching a lot of the Olympics.. so we did some races in the pool.. and I did my floor routine.. gymnastics aren't so hard when your in a pool! Logan fell asleep under an umbrella and I fell asleep IN THE POOL on a raft thing.. it was so awesome!

In the evening we went to the absolute best restaurant ever- Mothers Bistro. It is our FAVORITE! We invited our good friends Brenna and Matt Kline to go with us. Anyone who lives in Vancouver who is reading this.. you need to go there... it is the cutest, yummiest restaurant ever!
Brenna and I have been friends since kindergarten. I have millions of great memories with her. It is so awesome that we are both married now and we can hangout together with our husbands!
Brenna & Matt w/ their heart shaped creme brulee'... how cute is that?!
I didn't get a picture of Baylor, but he did come with us. :O)
Well that's about it. Baylor got his pictures taken last week and I am very excited to get them back! Hopefully I will get them soon and I will post them! Have a great week! ♥Ashley

Extreme Home Makeover {Backyard Edition}

Last summer when we moved into our house the backyard was nothing but solid weeds. They were almost as tall as me! When we did our remodel last summer we focused on the front yard and the inside of the house.. we saved the backyard for this Spring. It has been a lot of work, but it has finally paid off!
Logan and Verne framing up the new patio. We covered up the old cracked one with weeds growing through it. We also planted the trees along the fence (behind Logan and Verne) to block out our trashy neighbors behind us.

Logan did most of the work, but I did help stain the fence!
Making progress.....
Here's the finished product! YAY! We love spending time in our backyard and eating dinner out on our patio!
