When I found out I was pregnant with Wesley, a second boy, I was excited to decorate a room for the brothers to share. I went right to work and ordered bunk beds and bought bedding. Being the indecisive person I am, I hated the beds, sold them on Craig's List, and changed my mind about the bedding, and returned it. I eventually found exactly what I wanted. Now, the time has finally come for them to use the room together! They share a room! Wesley was finally willing to try out his big boy bed at the beginning of January (we have been suggesting it for months.) The first couple nights went perfect. They both fell asleep so easy and so quick. But then, they realized how fun it is that they each have a playmate... and they have been staying up playing since. These boys typically fight on and off during the day, everyday. But for some reason at night, they play like best friends... for hours. Maybe because they think they won't get to play if they fight. Who knows. It's pretty cute... but concerning that they are not getting enough sleep. Seriously concerning. I have this well documented cause I (was) so excited for them to share a room. Here are some pics of one of the first nights... Oh so sweet tucked into their beds...
Then.... the craziness started. You never know what you are going to get when you step into their room... This pic was taken around 11:00 pm.
These boys were DESTROYING their room every night... dumping every bin/drawer...and pulling everything off the shelves... ahhh it was driving me crazy! Desperate times call for desperate measures... Logan and I stripped the room of most of their toys/books, AND took the light bulbs out of their light...
The first night that worked good... we found them sleeping together in Baylor's bed.
Then they discovered that they could mess up their closet and sleep in there....
I GIVE UP!
As for this little cutie, now that the crib is empty, it's his! He has been doing some sleeping in his crib, but I have discovered that he sleeps much better, and longer in his bouncy chair. He looks soooo tiny in this crib, especially compared to Wesley!!!

Oh my gosh, so funny!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE boys and their mischief!!! Your boys are adorable, I think that I say that everytime I comment on here! Isn't motherhood the greatest??
Haha that is so naughty, and yet so darn cute!! I just feel for you having to clean it up every day...but they sure are darling boys, and cute little buddies:)
Oh my...this post had me laughing! How sneaky are they?? They must take after their mom..the queen of sneaking! ;) I can't believe how they can find anything to get into..it's not like you want empty their closet every night too. Seriously Good luck! Their room is super cute though. I bet it was fun to decorate.
Hope they start getting to bed sooner. For both of your sakes. :) As for me...I can't sleep lately. Our schizophrenic neighbor has apparently gone off his meds cause he can't afford them and has been cussing & screaming at us at nights. Can I just say I really hate Pocatello!
Also..sorry i am so lame. You asked some questions months ago and I am slow. Yes..we don't think we will be staying in Idaho..we never had the intention just because there are so many dentists in the area we would want to be in. We are looking into moving to Dallas or Colorado Springs this summer.
Is Natalie still in Colorado? Where at?
I totally understand that the constant mess isn't fun, but that is so cute that they fall asleep together though! Gotta love brothers. I love the red beds you chose. Very cute. And I can't over how much Baylor looks like Logan!
