Thankful

For months and months we have been looking forward to my Aunt, Uncle and cousins coming to visit. (The Hirschi's) We had lots of fun activities planned and my house was almost cleaned spotless. I was counting down the days for them to arrive for Thanksgiving.... but the horrible weather ruined it all! They drove for a couple hours and then made the wise decision to head back to Idaho Falls. We were all so disappointed... but I have to say that I am THANKFUL that they made it home, safe and sound.

We still had a nice Thanksgiving. We did the traditional 'Turkey Bowl' at Big Al's with the May's and dinner with my family. I also have to stop and say how Thankful I am to live where we live, close to both our parents and most of our siblings. (We miss you James') Most people would have to do a lot of traveling to be around so much family. We are so lucky and for that I am so Thankful!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

It's true. As much as Kaulana and I like our independence in our own state, sometimes we think it would be really nice to live around more family. I do have a lot of extended family around though.

My heart hurt for you guys when I heard about the storm and my family making the journey. It's worse to be stood up! :) jk. All the work and anticipation. I am so sorry!
Glad you still had a good holiday.
