February

These are just a few randoms from February....
Bentley turned 6 months old. He is still learning to sit up, so my bed was the best spot to take a '6 month' picture. He is the sweetest, happiest little thing ever.
This is pretty much what's going on in our kitchen...
all day, every day!

I made my fam some crepes for breakfast on Valentine's day. I like to find any excuse to make them... because I LOVE them. (More then anyone else in my family)

We found Wessie sleeping on the floor like this one night. He just LOVES his shark so much. We still never know what we are going to find when we go to check on the boys at night.

My Activity Day girls made heart banners and I liked how they turned out so I got together with my partner and we made them too! Thank you Pinterest!

Bentley spends most of his time Exersaucering!

Baylor ready for 'Silly Day' at Preschool. He insisted on having his pants backwards. (It's hard to see in the picture)

My Little Valentines

I do everything last minute. So the day before Valentine's day I came up with something I could get Logan for V-day so I loaded the boys in the car and we made the trek to WA Square. It is rare that I take all my kids anywhere... but I didn't really have other options. I was proud of myself that we survived!!! Not only did we survive but it was really fun! They did really well... and it is WA Square so how could I not enjoy it?! When we got home I decided to snap a few pics of the boys since on my porch to make a little Valentine's card. I wish I had done something sooner so that I could have sent it to our out of town family members... but I'm not good at thinking of things ahead of time like that.

I say it every blog post but... I LOVE THESE BOYS!

Love you Kenz!

My little Sister decided to move far far away to Louisiana! (What's with my siblings moving across the country?!) She told us she was moving three weeks before she left. I wanted to make sure she knows that we all love her very much! We all went to Big Al's (to bowl) and Pizza a few weeks ago, and then a couple days before she left we did a little going away party for her at my house.
Mackenzie is a really good aunt! She has spent A LOT of time with my boys babysitting them. They love her!!

The boys and Oliver were busy upstairs playing all night!
I miss her very much but the good thing is she will be back in September!
I love you Mackenzie!!!!

Up All Night

When I found out I was pregnant with Wesley, a second boy, I was excited to decorate a room for the brothers to share. I went right to work and ordered bunk beds and bought bedding. Being the indecisive person I am, I hated the beds, sold them on Craig's List, and changed my mind about the bedding, and returned it. I eventually found exactly what I wanted. Now, the time has finally come for them to use the room together! They share a room! Wesley was finally willing to try out his big boy bed at the beginning of January (we have been suggesting it for months.) The first couple nights went perfect. They both fell asleep so easy and so quick. But then, they realized how fun it is that they each have a playmate... and they have been staying up playing since. These boys typically fight on and off during the day, everyday. But for some reason at night, they play like best friends... for hours. Maybe because they think they won't get to play if they fight. Who knows. It's pretty cute... but concerning that they are not getting enough sleep. Seriously concerning. I have this well documented cause I (was) so excited for them to share a room. Here are some pics of one of the first nights... Oh so sweet tucked into their beds...

Then.... the craziness started. You never know what you are going to get when you step into their room... This pic was taken around 11:00 pm.

These boys were DESTROYING their room every night... dumping every bin/drawer...and pulling everything off the shelves... ahhh it was driving me crazy! Desperate times call for desperate measures... Logan and I stripped the room of most of their toys/books, AND took the light bulbs out of their light...
The first night that worked good... we found them sleeping together in Baylor's bed.
Then they discovered that they could mess up their closet and sleep in there....
I GIVE UP!

As for this little cutie, now that the crib is empty, it's his! He has been doing some sleeping in his crib, but I have discovered that he sleeps much better, and longer in his bouncy chair. He looks soooo tiny in this crib, especially compared to Wesley!!!

Wessie

Wesley has been cracking me up lately! I want to record some of the funny little things he does so I don't forget!! He is right in the thick of his 'terrible twos.' He can be quite a stinker, with some SERIOUS attitude.... but he can also be so funny, loving and sweet. It is so fun to see him at this stage, learning to talk, switching over from a baby to big boy and trying to be just like his big brother.

Just like his big brother, he is obsessed with his blanket. It's with him all day long. He named it 'B'... unlike his big brother, he has THREE other comfort items. His BIG HUGE shark from IKEA, a second blanket and his Batman pillow. He carries all of them around throughout the day, and has to sleep with them all. All four of them, every night.

He is my fashion boy. He actually cares what he wears. (Baylor never did.)  Every day he has a preference. Which is, he wants to wear a Batman shirt. He calls it 'Batman shirt on.' Santa gave him a couple new Batman shirts for Christmas so he has a variety. In December, he wore a Rudolph shirt almost every day. In the Summer time, he wore his shades all the time, often backwards. When any of us get new clothes, he is the first to notice! He will say, 'New shirt Mom!'

Wesley talks now and he can say just about everything. He is hard to understand but I know what he is saying most of the time. When I don't understand him he gets really frustrated and talks in what Logan and I call his, 'demon voice.' It is hilarious. Of course he loves the word no and says it a hundred times a day.
Some of his other favorite phrases are:

 "EWWWWW!!!!!"

"Dop (stop) it!"

"Mommy did it!" "Daddy did it!" "Bear (Baylor) did it!" He wants to make sure you know who is to blame for him being upset.

If he sees something he wants he will yell "I DOOOO" and raise his hand.

and my personal favorite,

"Don't want it! Don't want it!" w/ arm straight out in front of him shaking his hand.

Surprisingly, he has the best manners. He is always good about saying pleash (please) and thank you!

If he is doing something bad he will pretty much always say hi to you in a very sweet voice. We know if he is saying hi, he is probably up to something!!

Wesley's Favorite things:

Food- Chocolate Milk
Movie- Nightmare before Christmas (Daddy Skeleton Jack)
Show- Bubble Guppies
He also LOVES Riding his bike,
Batman, and pack packs (Trash Pack toys)

My favorite things about Wesley:

He gives the best greetings! If Logan or I get home from anywhere or we pick him up from somewhere he runs to us and gives us the BEST hugs!

When I put him down for his nap he always says "Ni Ni Love you!" over and over.

He is very sweet to his baby brother "BeBe."

He looks so cute and handsome when he gets all dressed up for church.

and my very favorite thing about Wesley is...
 He's my son!!!!!!

Sunday Best

I am on day 11 of being sick. I have some weird cold flu thing that just won't go away. Now I'm to the point that I don't want to go anywhere and give anyone what I have cause I would feel so bad!! On a typical Sunday, 20 minutes before church I am running around the house like a mad women turning off lights, trying to find shoes and bagging up cookie crisp... but today, me and Bentley were just in our PJ's hanging out so I decided to snap a few pictures of the boys in their Sunday best!!

This boy is no longer a Sunbeam! :( He is now in the CTR 4 class... and lucky him, he gets to be with two cousins, Cody and Evelyn! He gave the Prayer in Primary today all by himself. Me and Logan felt so bad, we forgot he was assigned to do it! But he handled it all on his own. Good thing!
As for this munchkin, he is now in the big nursery.
One more year of the 'Bubble Class.'

They love their robots that they got from Santa!

Bentley

Our little Bentley is almost 5 months old. Every day we are so grateful for our new little guy. He smiles none stop. Sometimes he is crying but if I smile at him long enough he will stop crying to smile back at me. He always wakes up happy in the morning cooing and smiling. As for the night time... this baby boy DOES NOT SLEEP! He wakes up about 5 times a night! And lately, he doesn't sleep in! Good thing he is so sweet and wakes up with a smile on his face, so it's not too hard to get up and take care of him!

As for motor skills... he doesn't really have any yet. He doesn't roll over or sit up. Of course he will get it eventually, but as for now he is just laying around and sitting in his bumbo! He loves that!!

I never get sick of seeing this sweet little face.
 We love our little Bentley!
