Christmas Time

Next year my goal for Christmas is to take more pictures. I guess we were too busy having fun! I did get a few of some of our favorite things we did in December. Our very favorite is being all cozy by the tree watching Christmas movies!

Casey (Baldwin) hooked us up with tickets to the Festival of Trees in Portland. There were lots of tree displays and the kids each got a teddy bear. It was lots of fun!!

All December I had been wanting to go see the tree downtown... and finally the Saturday before Christmas there was perfect weather so we went. It was really festive in the square with a band playing Christmas music and....to our pleasant surprise, Santa was right in the Square! We were planning on going to Macys but it was really cool to see him right in the center of it all. We will definitely be doing this again next year!

The Sunday before Christmas, December 23rd.

Bentley was baby Jesus in the Nativity on Christmas eve at the Mays. He did a great job!!

Here is the one picture I took Christmas day! Wesley opened his nerds rope and didn't care much about anything else!

Family Pictures

My sister Kenz took some picture of our family for our Christmas card. She always does a great job!

I didn't get my Christmas card out to everyone on my list. So if I missed you, I'm sorry! Hopefully I will do better next year!

Thornton's Tree Farm

On November 27th we borrowed Grandpa May's truck and headed out to the Tree Farm. We were going to try a new place this year, one that we heard was a little cheaper so we drove there first. It was pretty far away (past Battle Ground!) and they were closed! So we hurried and went to Thornton's... with 20 minutes to pick out a tree. We love Thornton's so it all worked out.
Bentley is easy to tote around, he's always having a good time :)

The boys were freezing their buns off. Good thing we were quick!

We love cutting down a fresh Christmas tree!!

James Visit

Heidi and her kids came into town for Halloween! It was fun for the kids to trick-or-treat together. One of the days she was here we went to the G6 trampoline park. Of course the kids loved that.... and so did Logan!
We went on a little girls trip to Cannon Beach for a night. It was really fun and relaxing! We ate yummy food, played games, and watched a Zac Efron movie, which is always fun! The next day was filled with window shopping and of course, lunch at Ecola. Thanks for the fun weekend ladies!
Warming up with some hot cocoa and cider at Pig N' Pancake.

Halloween

Right before we went trick or treating our friend Scarlette offered to take some pictures of our boys in their costumes! She is a super talented photographer, it was so nice of her to take these pictures!

My two pirates needed a parrot! I couldn't find a cute one to buy so I had to throw this together. This was my first sewing project that I have done all by myself. I was happy with how it turned out!

Here are the boys excited, ready to go trick or treating!
Earlier in the month we had a Halloween party with a few friends. We dressed as 'Buddy and Jovie' from Elf. Our friend Kevin came as a gingerbread man so we thought we better get a picture!!
Baylor and Wesley wanted to have a party of their own so we invited a few of their friends over after Preschool for a Halloween party. Cute kids!

Callie threw a Old Western themed Halloween party. Logan and I went as a Saloon girl and Bartender. The theme was so cute- we had so much fun!
Here are the boys in our trunk at the Trunk or Treat. There were so many fun Halloween festivities... by the end of it all I was EXHAUSTED! But it was all so much fun!!!!!!!!

Our little artist

Ever since Baylor started preschool he has been doing 'projects' none stop. He is constantly walking around the house looking for things to cut, clue, tape and color!
I thought I would include one of his works of art. I thought this was cute, it is a picture of a "Wailien (alien) with a tie on."

Witch's Night Out

Every year I look forward to Witch's night out. This was my fifth year! My friend Amy took a break from hosting, so my friend Kendall and her Mom planned it, and did something a little different. We started out with appetizers and treats at her home, then took a big bus to Portland. We all went to the 'haunted houses' at the rose quarters. I hadn't been to one of those since my Rexburg days. They were so much fun we loved it! It was pretty funny going around town with 30 of us dressed as witches!!!!!!!!!

Me and my good friend Kendall
On the party bus! Heading to Portland.
After the haunted houses we all went to VooDoo doughnuts! This was my first time! They are known for all of their crazy flavors. They have an amazing selection and really cool vide. There was a lot of us we barely fit inside! I got the butterfinger doughnut and loved it. This was most definitely a FUN girls night out can't wait for next year!
