Halloween

This year the boys all wanted to be Gremlins for Halloween. We found the ears at Comic Con, and then Logan and I made the costumes to go with it. No sewing involved- we just hot glued the fur to some sweats. They loved being Gremlins- and Logan and I loved it too they looked SO cute... like three stuffed animals walking around!
30 weeks pregnant

Lenny- It's hard to see in the picture but Logan made Baylor some big teeth!

Gizmo- the cutest little Gizmo EVER! Bentley said 'Me love being Gizmo because Gizmo is so cute!!' He told everyone for months in advance that this was what he was going to be for Halloween. He played the part well!
I absolutely love the boys' school. I love that they celebrate holidays and do fun festive parties. They are always doing fun holiday activities and crafts at school too.. which is so fun!
Cute little Daffy!

On the way to the party, the boys said they hoped they would win the costume contest. I told they they wouldn't because there were just too many kids. I didn't want them to expect to win. Turns out they did! There were six trophies and they were called up first! They were SO happy! They kept talking about how fun that was when their name was called to come up. It was a fun night!

It's A GIRL!!!

On Monday the 10th I had a doctor appointment. At this appointment my doctor had a hard time hearing the baby's heart rate so she took me into the ultrasound room. This was very stressful! Fortunately she found it right away with the ultrasound. Since we were in there she said 'lets take a peak between the legs!' My heart sank.. I was not expecting to find out the sex that day. She looked and looked and told me she was 'pretty sure' it was a girl. I told her I couldn't leave with a pretty sure! I was shocked though because Logan and I had pretty much ruled out the idea! She sent me home with a 'pretty sure' which was pretty much torture for the rest of the week! I could hardly sleep cause at this point I was worried that I had gotten my hopes up. We went in for an ultrasound that Friday, the 14th. I only slept a couple hours the night before. We went in at 8:00... I was so nervous. The ultrasound tech looked at everything else before she got to the gender. I could tell she was looking between the legs and I asked, do you know what it is? And she said ' Oh I've known what it is for awhile' with a big smile on her face. Her smile gave it away... since she knew that's what we were hoping for! We were SO HAPPY to finally hear the words 'It's a girl!' I can't wait til December... it's gonna be a long wait!

Bentley's 3rd Birthday

Bentley decided he wanted a Spongebob Birthday MONTHS before his birthday. He didn’t call it a Spongebob party though, he called it his ‘crabby patty’ birthday. He would talk about it all the time!
The day finally arrived. He was so cute he loved his cake, he was happy to see me working on it during the day. He brothers went to ‘Lego Camp’ so him and I went to Menchies. It was fun to be there just me and him.
We invited all of our family for his crabby patty birthday. The James’ arrived into town earlier that day so it was great to have them at the party too! Brooklyn asked Bentley what kind of birthday his party was and he responded ‘mine!’
Of course he loved ALL of his gifts and tried to cram as many as he could into his crib at night. When I tucked him in he said ‘You made me a hamburger cake!’ I thought it was so sweet that he brought that up. He really liked his party. We love him so much. He is such a special part of your family. He makes us laugh all day long with his funny things he says and does. We just love his bright blonde hair and huge smile. He is such a sweetie!
He holds the key to my heart!

This cake was fun to make!
Logan behind the grill making the Crabby Pattys!

The James rolled into town earlier that day.
Perfect timing for his Birthday!

The cutest little birthday boy!!!

A few things about Bentley at age Three:

He starts everyday with a cold sippy cup full of chocolate milk!

He is absolutely OBSESSED with toys. He brings them everywhere. He usually brings a backpack AND/OR lunchbox full of toys everywhere we go... plus some in his hands!

He absolutely loves cute stuffed animals and can't help but talk in his baby voice when he sees or holds one.

When he's mad he will tell you 'you RUDE!'

He LOVES to go to Nursury, he calls it his 'puzzle class'

He starts everything with 'me' "Me hungry", "Me want to go to my puzzel class." "Me want to watch TV."

He loves 'Turtle Ninjas'

He loves to go to Target and asks to go often.

He likes to tell people that he poops in the toilet and wears underwear, even though in reality he absolutely refuses!!! He is a good liar though because people believe him when he tells them!

He loves his 'Polka dock' , 'buggy' , and 'doggy' blankets.

He loves to talk about the baby in my tummy and talks about the one in his!

He is absolutely hilarious and adorable and we love him to peices!!!!!

Baylor's 7th Birthday

Can't believe our baby is SEVEN! Baylor has been talking about his worm cake for months and months. He insisted that the cake had worms inside and out! So we put worms between each of the layers. He also had a boom box pinata at this party. That is always a big hit!

7-UP filled with cash from Grandpa and Grandma May!
Baylor and MaryLeigh love to play together. Baylor is always asking for her to come over and stay the night!

Baylor was over-the-moon excited about his Creature from the Black Lagoon toy from Dad. He didn't ask for it, but Logan always knows what he will like!!!

Before his party- Baylor, Logan and Wesley went to Baylor's school for the showcase night. Baylor had his big 'Monster' project on Display. I love that he is wearing socks with his Vans. This would have never happened had I taken him! ;)

A few things about Baylor at age 7:

He loves to collect Garbage Pail Kid cards, Goosebumps books and any toy that is scary or creepy! He loves collecting things.

He has literally drawn THOUSANDS of monsters in the last seven years. He is always coming up with new designs and can draw them for hours. He loves to write books about them.

His favorite foods are hard boiled eggs, cheeseburgers, Ravioli and strawberries.

Baylor is a NIGHT OWL! He is usually the last to fall asleep (of the kids) and if given the opportunity to sleep in, he will be the last to get up.

Baylor is the BEST at catching our bunny Cupcake. We will let him run around the yard and Baylor is the only one that can get him back in his cage!

He loves movie nights with Dad.

He loves to steal my phone and make VERY silly videos.

He still says 'Dane it' instead of Dang it. Now Logan and I say it that way too... and Wesley too.

Baylor is always super sweet at night and always says the best prayers. He loves family night and always reminds us that we need to do it. He does a great job answering questions.

We love Baylor so much and are so thankful everyday to have him for our son!

Wesley's Broken Arm

While Baylor and I were at the Zoo Snooze, Logan took Wesley and Bentley over to his parent's house to celebrate Grandpa May's birthday. Wesley was downstairs playing with his cousins and his arm broke. So sad! I got a text from Sherilyn that said 'I called the emergency room and let them know Logan is on the way.' I had no idea what that meant so that was a scary text to get! I will admit I was releived to find out it was just a broken arm... but still so sad for Wesley! And especially sad that I wasn't there with him. Logan said he was so brave at the hospital! He did not like his cast the first day... but all the gifts and special treatment really helped. He liked wearing his sling for the first couple of days.

Wesley got a big alligator and markers for his cast from his Aunts, a sonic slush and a turtle dreamlight from Logan, and a penguin stuffed animal from Baylor and I at the zoo. Bentley was loving all the gifts as well, good thing Wesley is a nice brother and shares!
