Christmas Sunday

I always love the Sunday before Christmas. It is always an extra special week! Our ward did a wonderful Christmas program. The chapel had greenery and bows. I am in Young Womens and the lesson was SO GOOD! The boys looked very cute in red and green too! I forgot to take a picture after we got home from church so I had Wesley change back into his church clothes. He is the only one that will change his clothes on his own so he was the only one that had to change back! He is always in a hurry to get his 'comftys' on!

After church the boys went straight to work on their new 'Elf on the Shelf' puzzels. Bentley likes to work on his puzzels while the boys do theirs. When he is done he always says 'MAKE!'

Favorite Puzzle

When we were kids Grandpa Davis gave us this puzzle for Christmas. It was the only puzzle we ever did growing up. Or at least the only one I remember doing! One of my favorite Christmas memories is sitting around listening to Christmas music and working on this puzzle.  It has been years and years since we have put the whole thing together... so this year was the year! My kids are finally to an age where I was able to do it. Kyle, Hailee and I ... and Logan a little bit... did the puzzle in a couple hours. Bentley wanted to take credit too so he hopped in the picture!! It's missing a few pieces but it still looks good! I love this puzzle!!!

Yummy Treats!

Lori had us all over the Saturday before Christmas to do some baking! I went to two Cookie exchanges this year and a friend of mine from our new ward made the BEST snickerdoodles (I thought!) so I got the recipe from her and made a double batch of those. Everyone else made lots of goodies too and we all left with lots of yummy stuff to enjoy with our families.

I found Wesley hanging out in this corner of our kitchen MANY times! Seeing the counters lined with yummy treats from neighbors and friend and family is one of my favorite parts of Christmas!!!

2014 Christmas Card

Christmas cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions. I love giving them and I LOVE receiving them. There is something so exciting about receiving something in the mail, or on your doorstep. Every year the kids and I have so much fun delivering goodies and Christmas cards to our friends, neighbors and family. It's so fun to say hello and spread a little Christmas cheer :)... I love it!
This is our 2014 card.

Ms. Carolyn's Christmas Program

Wesley was Joseph in the Nativity at his Preschool. His cute little friend Chloe Sivits was Mary. I loved that they were Joseph and Mary together! They did the best job! I loved watching it! I missed half because Bentley was being SO LOUD... thankfully Becca recorded it so I can watch it over and over. I came back in in time for the songs. They sang four songs. Wesley did great! Logan and I was so proud!!!

The cutest little Joseph and Mary ever!!

Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

We made our annual trip to Thornton's Treeland the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We all love this tradition! This year it was EXTRA cold! We bundled up pretty well but we still had to decide fast. Bentley wasn't loving it!!

My bundled up boys at home. My Mom made Baylor's angry bird had and it is still his favorite. Bentley was fighting for it. He loves it too!

BRRRRR....

This is it!!!

We decorated the tree the next night. The boys love decorating the tree.... especially Wesley. He's my little decorator!! Someday I would love to have the ornaments evenly distributed on the tree... for now, they all tend to migrate towards the top half :)

November

We had a really nice warm day in November so we went on a lovely bike ride! Wesley LOVES his bike!
Wesley and Chloe were so cute with their Pilgrim hats and Pumpkin Pies when I picked them up from school on Wednesday!
Our living Room.

I don't make pies very often but when I do I'm so proud! I got together with Lindsi and Callie the night before Thanksgiving and made a few pies with them.
Baylor helping Casey carve the Turkey on Thanksgiving!

Me and my Momma! I love her so much!
