November

We had a really nice warm day in November so we went on a lovely bike ride! Wesley LOVES his bike!
Wesley and Chloe were so cute with their Pilgrim hats and Pumpkin Pies when I picked them up from school on Wednesday!
Our living Room.

I don't make pies very often but when I do I'm so proud! I got together with Lindsi and Callie the night before Thanksgiving and made a few pies with them.
Baylor helping Casey carve the Turkey on Thanksgiving!

Me and my Momma! I love her so much!

Crazy Wind Storm!

We had several terrible wind storms this year but we had one in November that did some damage! It was SO scary! It felt like the Wizard of Oz! I thought the whole house was gonna blow away!! Baylor was playing in the playroom and he watched this gigantic tree fall right outside the playroom window. He was yelling 'Mom a tree fell down!' Several trees had already fallen so I figured that's what he meant but nope... this huge tree in front of the house! We had scheduled to cut it down the following week... but Mother nature took care of that for us! Fortunately there was not much damage. The tree fell on the front of our Sequoia but there wasn't even a scratch! Unfortunately our white railing was toast! That night we were so scared we hurried and packed our bags and stayed at Lori and Verne's house. Since then, when Baylor sees a tree that has fallen he says, 'I bet they needed to stay at their Grandma and Grandpa's house!' This storm was so crazy there were fallen trees and blown down fences EVERYWHERE! I've never seen anything like it!
Verne and Lori came over to help clean up.
There were fallen tree out of every window! We lost a total of 7 trees... and our neighbor lost a huge one that fell over and smashed our chain link fence. Our forest has 4 horizontal trees in in.

During the storm the vent to our oven was flapping and making a noise. Bentley named this noise 'Freaky guy' every time the wind would make a flap he would yell 'NO FREAKY GUY!' Then he would apologize to freaky guy. 'Sorry Freaky Guy, sorry freaky guy.' Then he started kissing freaky guy (the air) and saying 'hugs freaky guy!' It was so entertaining!!

Huckleberries

Wesley was BEYOND happy to be a soccer player this year. Every week he would ask, is today Soccer? He loved his practices and games. He also loved his teammates. His team was called the 'Huckleberries' it was just too darn cute! We LOVED watching Wesley play soccer each week!

Utah

After a busy Summer of remodeling we decided we needed a getaway!! We thought for sure we'd be done with our move weeks before the trip... but we ended up moving into our home just two days before the trip. Moving and planning for a weeklong trip at the same time was stressful. We left everything a big huge mess- but we were so grateful to finally be in the house... and to get a vacay!
We loved going to the Pumpkin patch!!

We had a fun day of shopping and Temple Square.
....and of course we HAD to go to Lagoon. We had way too much fun!!

Bentley LOVED this Bulgy ride. He rode it over and over and over and OVER again. He looked so adorable on it!!! So does little Ivrie in the background.
Baylor is so obsessed with anything scary. I knew he would love this picture and he does. He wanted to go on the haunted rides the most... and of course he always claims that he wasn't scared!

We were able to visit Grandma Davis on Friday. The kids always love seeing her and her toys. :) She was so nice and took us out to lunch. Chick-Fil-A... our favorite!!!

It was a trip to remember that's for sure! We absolutely love visiting the James family and Grandma Davis. So many fun memories were made!!!
