Our Playroom

For the first couple years of living in our house our playroom was mostly empty with some hand-me-down furniture. We have slowly but surely furnished and decorated it. I think we are mostly done... and I think it turned out kinda cute... when it's clean which is rare.
Logan always wanted Movie posters.. when he found these vintage Disney one's I agreed. He made the barn wood frames out of barn wood from his parent's house. My Dad found that little pottery barn table and thrift store for cheap and gave it to us! It was an awesome find. Logan painted and re-finished it.

My friend Brannigan and I used to collect these tins in Rexburg and had one wall covered it them. It was fun to collect these ones for the playroom. Brought back memories :)
Bentley loves his playroom!
He crawls up the stairs and goes straight for it!

We found this open/closed store at a flea market recently. Sometimes we flip it over when we are done cleaning the playroom. Now I need one for my kitchen!!!

Goodbye Summer

It was a fun, busy, hot Summer! I'm sad to see it go! These are just a few of my favorite snapshots from my iphone. Can't believe how far they've come with the picture quality on cell phones!!
We went to Tropical Smoothie at least twice a week. They have a drive through... which is PERFECT for me... I am OVER getting kids in and out of the car! My boys were THRILLED to meet the Tropical Smoothie maskot! (Okay I was too!)
Of course we spent tons of time and Grandma and Grandpa May's swimming and running around.
The ice cream man doesn't come every day so when he does come we will usually let the boys get something. It's pretty much the most exciting thing ever. Wesley gets what I always got when I was little... the snow cone. I don't know why, they really aren't that good!
We LOVE family bike rides. Wesley can't always make it... Bentley is just the sweetest brother giving him a squishy shoulder to lean on.

It was a happy Summer Indeed!!!

Pool Time

Baylor learned to swim this Summer. He can swim 'in the deep' as the kids call it. He had so much fun jumping off the diving board all Summer long. Wesley is so brave too. He doesn't mind one bit getting his head under water. He is quite the swimmer... they both are!

Logan the lifegaurd.

Ever since Wesley was little he has loved laying in the water like this. Someones we will catch him just doing this. Relaxing!

Lori got me this whale for Baylor for his birthday, just like the one I used to have. It finally popped at the end of August :( We had fun with it though!

Bentley was content playing in 'his' pool by the pool.
This was a win win!!

So grateful to have this awesome pool to enjoy with the Mays every Summer!!

Enchanted Forest

About a week ago my 'Aunt' Whitney posted pics of her and her family at Enchanted Forest. I had seen it off the freeway but never thought twice about it. Her pictures made it look so fun I just knew my boys would love it. Me and Logan didn't tell the boys where we were going but I did tell them we were going somewhere really fun and it was a surprise. They both yelled simultaneously, 'DISNEYLAND!?!?' Nope, not quite! But they seriously did love this place. When we pulled up Baylor said he 'wished he lived there!' It was so whimsical and fun. Not quite Disneyland to say the least, but hey, for a 5 and 3 year old.... who cares!

Wesley was too scared to enjoy some of it.
Baylor loved all the spooky stuff!

This is a giant slide. The boys rode it over and over again!

Bentley was such a good trooper riding around all day! He only had a couple moments where he got mad but he was not bad at all!
 The Crooked house!

The boys insisted on shaking the chipmonk's hand!

When Baylor got on this ride he told the man that it was his first time. When the ride was over, Baylor and Wes were at the top waiting to get out of their cage. I heard Baylor say, 'I'm gonna be on this FOREVER!'.... yep, that's how a Ferris Wheel works!

We went on a Wednesday so the park was nice and quiet. The boys got to go on the rides over and over... sometimes without even having to get off! This was their favorite, the Froggie jumper!

Logan is 30!

This cute little guy turned 30!!
To celebrate we went to one of our favorite dinner spots, Skamania Lodge. Lori and Verne and Callie and Brandon joined us. It was a beautiful warm evening. Yummy food and great company!!

On Logan's actual Birthday, Lori and Verne took the boys and we had brunch at this yummy little place.
Logan didn't think the normal order of french toast was gonna be enough so he ordered extra...
I think he deserved to have his picture on the wall or something for eating that much food!

Happy Birthday Logan- I LOVE YOU!
