Bentley's Blessing

On September 30th we did Bentley's Blessing. We weren't sure when we were gonna do it and then two days before the blessing I email the Bishop and said, Can we do it this Sunday? He was fine with it! So we did it on a whim but it turned out PERFECT! So glad we did it on that day while the weather was still beautiful. It was a wonderful day.

 Later in the evening we did dinner at my house. I made these centerpieces with Lori's beautiful flowers from her garden. I made some apple cider cookies and my favorite Our Best Bites Tortellini soup, Lori made her yummy roles and my Mom made a pumpkin dessert. It was a yummy fall dinner!

A few weeks later we received an anonymous letter in the mail with the blessing typed on it. What an amazing gift someone gave us!

Our little cutie at 7 weeks!

I really wanted to can peaches this year since me and my boys LOVE them.... so a friend of mine picked up a box for me. Problem was they were SO GOOD that we gobbled them up before we got a chance to can them. I think I am going to have to make that a tradition every year to just buy a box of fresh peaches to eat because we absolutely loved them! I still wanted to try some canning so Lori, Lindsi and I did some pears. This was my first canning experience. It was fun!

September 23rd was Bentley's first day at church! This was one of the first days he started smiling. He was smiling up a storm in the foyer! I was hoping he'd sleep through church but nope, he was WIDE awake. He had lots of admirers :)

We get excited about holiday's and always decorate way too soon. I try to hold out til October but it's just too hard! Happy Fall!

Hanging by the pool

It's been a nice sunny September so far! I didn't think Bentley would see the pool til next year but we got in one last swim. Even though it was warm me and the kids took a dip in the hot tub. I haven't been able to go in one for a long time so it sounded fun!

This little guy is packing on the pounds... he is over 12 pounds now! He is getting chubby fast just like his brothers!

Of course we all enjoy passing him around!

My little Preschooler

Baylor is officially in Preschool! He was sooo excited to go his first day. His teacher said he could bring a stuffed animal so he brought his Gizmo stuffed animal in his 'pack pack.' He loved that! He is such a sweet boy I just love him so much!!!

Loving our Bentley!

We are loving every minute with our little Bentley! He is so sweet and so much fun. His older brothers just love him to death... and so do Logan and I!!!

There are boys everywhere at my house!!! My friend Amy came over and took these pictures of my boys. It was intended to be a baby photo shoot with one or two with the boys, but the ones with the big brothers turned out to be my fav. My little stinker Wesley was actually smiling for the camera! (Doesn't happen to often these days!)

Sweet as can be!

 Everything with this C-section went absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The recovery in the hospital and at home has been so good. My favorite part about this delivery was that I asked my Doctor ahead of time to hold up the baby right after he was born. So for the first time I was able to see my baby immediately.... with all the slim and yucky stuff on him. I had never seen that before, so it was really special for me I loved that. It really was love at first sight. We love our little Bentley so much he is absolutely perfect!

Just like with my other boys I loved my time in the hospital. We had lots of visitors. Casey and his girlfriend Elise flew in from Chicago to visit and see the baby!! Also, my Uncle got married the day after Bentley was born so my Grandparents were able to come and so was my Aunt Nanette, Uncle Val and Cousin Brylee! It was so awesome to see them!!

After 3 1/2 days at the hospital it was time to go home. I'm always sad to leave. It is just such a special time to spend with just the baby and I love that. I'm so thankful for all of our family members who helped out so that Logan could be at the hospital the whole time too!
