Sunriver Reunion

We did another trip to Sunriver this year. We of course had so much fun! On the way there I asked Logan which bikes he brought... only to realize that we forgot to bring any. We did not touch a bike on this trip. Crazy! We still had lots of fun. Here are the highlights:

Ice Cream and candy at Goodies. We enjoyed the chocolate covered potato chips.

Playing with our new toys from the toy shop. A plastic picnic.  YUM!

Free fishing day at the golf course. They do this once a year and we were in town for it! There were lots of little booths with fun things for the kids.... and fishing of course.

They took this picture of our family. This was the only fish we caught that day. I'm okay with that though.
No blood and fish guts!

Swimming at the resort. Wesley LOVES to swim!! It is the most adorable thing. He smiles the whole time.

Games at the park.

This may have been my favorite. The kid talent show. All the Grand kids got up and did something. It was so cute and fun to watch. Baylor and Cody danced to Ghostbusters. (They have 'practiced' that many times at our house!)

Baylor is 3!

A few days before Baylor's birthday Logan took Baylor to Party City to pick out some party supplies. Baylor picked a pirate theme. He told me he wanted a 'Pirate shark attack cake.' We decided to just go with the pirate cake. He loved it!
For about three months, every time Baylor sees someone, rather then greeting them he would tell them he's two! I don't know why but he wants to make sure everyone knows that. I was worried he wouldn't switch over to three but he has. He hasn't quite figured out how to change his fingers though... so he still tells everyone he's three while holding up two fingers.

The whole family came out for a BBQ and birthday party. It happened to be a beautiful day so we had the party outside.

It was crazy to compare this year to last. Last year on Baylor's second birthday we were moving into our new home. Baylor couldn't say a single word... and now he won't stop talking! Also- this year he was able to blow out his candles all by himself! It was so fun to see him have a preference on his party and cake. He was so excited for his birthday party and for his presents! He was the cutest little birthday boy!

Father's & Son's Campout

Since Baylor was born Logan has talked about how he was excited to take him to the Stake Father's and Son's camp out. Grandpa May was there too and they were able to share a tent with him. Logan said Baylor did really well except for when he ran in front of the entire stake while they were doing a presentation.... oops. Our child would never do that!

I loved this camp out. Me and Wesley had a fun night of shopping and NO cooking! I did however make cookies and had a friend over and had a great night. I'm looking forward to next year!
When Baylor got home the next morning (at 6:00 AM!) I asked him what he did and he said 'Fun!' A few hours later he made this little nest on the floor with pillows and blankets and passed out!

A day at the Carnival

My good friend Amy Morgan and her friend Tara Mansius took these family pictures last month. Amy is one of the most creative people I have ever known. As for Tara she has been a professional photographer for many years. I have seen her work and always wanted to have her take some pictures of either our family or my boys. When Amy asked me if I would be interested in doing this shoot I jumped at the opportunity. I LOVE THESE PICTURES! This photo shoot was so laid back and fun. I don't think Baylor even noticed that it was a photo shoot... between the balloons, popcorn and rides. (Baylor and Logan did 3 rides!) I can't think of a better bribe...

Amy and Tara are now working together offering stylized photography sessions. They will being doing more shoots like this at the Clark County Fair. They are also offering stylized photo shoots in other settings. They have some amazing ideas! Check out their photography blogs!

Easter Weekend

The day before Easter was absolutely gorgeous!!! Grandpa and Grandma May did an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids. Logan had an idea to ride our bikes to their house. It's about 4 miles. It was so nice so we did. The only problem was it took us almost an hour and we were late. The bike ride was awesome... but next time we're gonna save it for a time when we don't need to be somewhere!

Logan and I decorated a couple eggs for the egg decorating contest at Lori and Verne's. Logan did the Cow I did the Chick.

Grandma May hides an egg with each kids name on it. When they find their egg they turn it in for a special prize.

Digging into all their candy.

Baylor has always loved 'Grandpa's Chickens'

Easter Sunday...Ready for Church!!

When Wesley woke up I brought him downstairs even though Logan and Baylor were still asleep. I figured he wouldn't notice or care about his Easter basket, so we could just wait. I was wrong!! That's all he wanted... and when I put it up he screamed his head off. I felt so bad! I often underestimate how smart he is getting because he is 'the baby.'  Poor little guy! He loved his Easter basket!!
After church we went the May's and the Chapman's. It was a busy day but so fun! What kid wouldn't want to see all their Grandparent's and cousins in one day??? The Easter bunny still brings a basket for Logan and I at my parent's house. I LOVE THAT! My Mom also gets a basket for the Grandsons. She made each of them one of these adorable knit tennis ball frogs. We have a growing collection of knit toys, we love them!
