Oh Sunny Day

The weather was gorgeous the Sunday after we got back from our trip. It felt soooo good! Hopefully we have more days like that SOON...
Baylor stayed with my parents while we went on our trip. Which by the way was very nice.. (Thanks again Mom and Dad..) I slept better on the cruise then I have in the last year or so!!!! HOWEVER- we were very anxious and excited to get Baylor back in our arms!!!! We both really really missed him! (Of course)
Baylor knows how to walk now... so he is wigglier then EVER! All he wants to do is MOVE. Out of about five tries.. this is the best picture I got with him.

On Nathan's birthday we took Baylor into "Callie's Salon" for a much needed hair cut. It was a very traumatic experience for him. Somehow Callie still managed to do it but let me tell you it was CRAZY!!! The picture on the left is the before. Now his hair is not as "Mohawkish" Thanks Callie!!!!

{May Family Cruise}

Lori and Verne took the family on a cruise!! We had SO MUCH fun... but the trip got off to a bad start because Heidi (The ONE sibling that does not live in Vancouver...) was not allowed to get on the boat because she was 2 weeks past the "limit." We all tried and tried for hours to get them to make an exception.. especially considering their website allows you to book a cruise without making any mention WHATSOEVER about any sort of pregnancy limits. Anyways.. it was SO DEVASTATING for all of us. We missed the James' so much on our trip. That first day on the cruise was rough... However, we still had a really great time.
The first night Logan and I went hot-tubing and then saw a hilarious comedian. Everyone else went to bed so we were bummed that everyone missed it, because it was our favorite show of the cruise!

Our first full day was at Catalina Island. Logan and I were excited so we went first thing. We were on our own for awhile so we rented a golf cart and rode around town. Avalon was such a cute town and it was SO Beautiful! It felt so good to feel the sunshine and see some palmtrees! (I love palmtrees!) They don't really use cars there, mostly just golf carts. The houses were TINY but so cute. And I thought it was cute how tons of them had their homes labeled with their names. For lunch we enjoyed the YUMMIEST burgers. We did some shopping (Which is always a favorite for me..) and then we went back on the boat and soaked up some sun! That night was the formal night, So we all got really dressed up and had a really nice dinner!!! We went to a show afterwards that was filled with singing and dancing.
The third day we were in Ensenada, Mexico. This was my third time I have been to Mexico! It is fun to be in a different culture... especially one that is so different from ours. We took a short city tour and did some shopping. That night we got dressed up again, enjoyed our dinner and then went and saved some good seats for the show.
I have always wanted to go on a cruise and I'm so glad we did! It was so much fun! The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the James were there!!!! Next time! Thank you Lori and Verne, Logan and I loved it!
